Frequently Asked Questions

How do I secure my wedding date with you?

The first stop would be to complete an enquiry form .. this will allow me to give you an accurate quote and check my availability. Once you have decided you’d like to go ahead and book I will send you my booking form and your invoice which will have the details of how to pay the £100 deposit in order to secure the date. This is a non-refundable deposit but will be deducted from the final balance.

Do I have to have a trial?

For Brides a trial is required and is included within the package pricing. We need to ensure that your are 100% happy with your chosen look before the wedding day. A bit like when choosing your wedding dress.. what you envisioned you wanted is not always what you opt for after trying it on. The same applies for makeup and I would never risk ‘winging it’ on the day. Other bridal party members are not required to have a trial unless they would like to.

How many people are you able to makeup on a wedding morning?

As a rule 6-7 people would be manageable on my own. But this would be subject to your ceremony time and how early you have access to the location you are getting ready at. Where time is limited or a bridal party is larger than 7.. a second artist / assistant may be required. This is offered with a surcharge of £75 to cover the organisation and required admin of a second artist and their travel costs.

Do you also do hair?

Unfortunately not.. I chose to focus solely on makeup. I have however worked with a number of fantastic Hair Stylists who I am able to recommend if required. Timings wise if there are more than 2 or 3 of you I would always recommend a separate Makeup Artist and Hair Stylist so they can work alongside each other reducing the time needed to get ready.

How far do you travel? Do you do destination weddings?

I am based in Sunbury onThames, Surrey (TW16) just outside London but within the M25. I predominately work in Surrey, Hampshire and London but I am available to work in any location nationwide and abroad for destination weddings if time and other commitments allow.. so do please do enquire wherever your wedding may be and I can provide more information.

How long does makeup take?

I advise that all makeup (& hair) should be completed at least 1 hour before your ceremony time to allow you to get into your dress, have pictures and relax without rushing. I will send you a schedule ahead of the day to ensure everyone knows when they will be needed However as a rough guide I need approx 15 minutes to set up, 1 hour for the Brides makeup and 45 minutes for each member of the bridal party. I will then stay up to one hour after completing all makeup to provide any required touchups before you head down the aisle.
